Danny is one of the founding partners of FLB. He has over 18 years experience working at director level in small, medium and large practices. His strategy is to become personally involved with clients’ businesses, to act effectively as a business partner in helping clients achieve their business vision.

Danny has an excellent reputation within the Thames Valley, which is founded on his ability to build long term relationships and to work with his clients in a proactive manner. His priority is, to protect your interests, individually as well as in business.

Danny’s broad experience ranges from advising individuals, start-up businesses, dynamic owner managed businesses of all sizes, AIM listed entities and overseas clients making inward investment to the UK. He has experience in corporate finance matters as well as audit, accounting, business management and corporate reorganisations.

Outside Work:

Danny enjoys spending time with his young family and can occasionally be found on the golf course, at a race course, watching major sporting events and enjoying food and fine wines.

Ben is a founder of FLB LLP and FLB Tax Limited. Ben’s passion and driving force is to get to know the people and businesses he works with and to support them in whichever area he can. Ben has a broad breadth and depth of experience working with a variety of businesses and is supported by a team of specialists to meet all the specific needs a client requires. Ben has over 18 years experience in practice working with small, medium and large clients, together with a number of stints as interim Finance Director, in large businesses. Ben also specialises in business valuations whether it be for legal proceedings, mergers, separations or any other requirement.

Outside Work:

Ben enjoys dining out, cars, walking, reading and watching sport. That’s right cars and walking in the same sentence, and yes watching sport, any sport, even cricket! After avoiding the game for a whole year Ben has now committed fully to improving his performance in the fine sport of walking with a bag of sticks (golf) in 2011. Having experienced several golfing weekends abroad in 2008 and 2009 Ben is looking to improve on his consistent position at the bottom of the leaderboard.

Gary is one of the founding partners of FLB, an ACA and AAT qualified professional.

Gary has spent a number of years providing assurance services to a wide range of clients. His 7 years experience ranges from self assessment tax returns and management accounts to statutory audits. Gary has also undertaken a number of Financial Director roles within AIM listed companies in the London and surrounding areas.

Outside Work:

Gary is a keen golfer, having played for his club, Bearwood Lakes’, scratch team for many years he also played for the Berkshire School Boys team and the Berks. Bucks and Oxon team competing in a number of matches around the country.

Experience & Specialisms:

Geoffrey Ryder qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1970 and managed the Foreman and Hill practice since 1985.

His previous career included senior positions in commerce, acting as financial accountant, and a five-year term as manager with the international firm of accountants, KPMG. His experience in commerce as well as practice places him in an advantageous position to offer sound practical advice to clients.

Geoffrey speaks fluent Portuguese and has a basic understanding of written French and Spanish.

Ray has spent the last seventeen years running two practices providing a high level of service to a wide range of clients both small and large. His diverse portfolio includes sole traders, owner managed business and foreign owned subsidiaries.

His key strength lies in his ability to build long term proactive relationships with clients. He is a hands-on adviser and enjoys the variety of challenges offered by working in public practice. Ray likes to be involved and clients often use him as a sounding board – especially appreciated by the fast growing, entrepreneurial businesses within his portfolio.

Outside Work:

In his spare time Ray enjoys playing golf, watching all sports and travelling to a variety of destinations which are off the beaten track. He also enjoys dining out with his family and friends.
